Dear JA Big Bend Supporters,
Spring is here and JA Big Bend is thankful for beautiful weather and to have completed seven out of eight High School Assemblies VIRTUALLY! Eight finalists will continue on to the 6th Annual Shark Bowl and pitch their business idea for a cash prize on April 22nd from 6-8 PM.
The schools/organizations that completed the JA Be Entrepreneurial: Rapid Business Planning and participated in the High School Assemblies were Chiles, Crossroad Academy, Godby, Leon, Omega Lamplighters, Rickards, SAIL, and Somerset Academy. Over 500 students have participated and completed the JA Be Entrepreneurial: Rapid Business Planning throughout Leon, Gadsden, and Jefferson Counties. A special thank you to the Office of Economic Vitality. We thank you for your partnership and support to give tomorrow's entrepreneurs the SKILLS they need to INNOVATE a better tomorrow. We have completed all JA Be Entrepreneurial: Rapid Business Planning programming for the 20-21 school year BUT we are still offering other awesome entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and work-readiness programs to elementary - high schools. For all program needs, email the Program Manager Alyssa at alyssa@jabigbend.org.
